While at a conference we got a phone call. Basically, the agent was telling us that we should counsel buyers against adding services. Get the details on this situation. This is a cautionary tale, as telling a client not to get services that the buyer wants is a liability to the agent. This is especially true with IAQ concerns because of the different levels of sensitivity people can have.

We also mention a past issue where an agent claimed a home to be mold free lost a deal, a client, and all future referrals from that client.

Most agents are good and care about the clients, however they all should be careful.
